Are you looking for a role supporting Primary aged children with Additional Learning Needs?
The Educate Group are currently recruiting Teaching Assistants to work in and around the Wrexham area. We work with ALN Schools, as well as mainstream schools that have a Resource Provision on site. We also get a lot of work for pupils who need additional 1:1 support.
We are very busy at the moment and have work on a day-to-day basis to cover sickness, as well as full-time long term positions.
So whether you are looking for part-time hours or full time long term work, we are able to provide work to suit your availability.
The right candidate must be sympathetic, patient and have a caring nature to help students in lessons. You may be asked to work 1:1 with individual pupils or with small groups. You must be creative as you may be required to adapt learning materials to suit the needs of the individual children you are working with.
Having an understanding of emotions and body language is an important aspect of the role as you will be working with pupils who struggle to convey their emotions.
