About the Role:Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Tutor to support students across the Melton Mowbray area. This rewarding role involves providing tailored one-to-one or small-group tuition to pupils who may require additional academic support, either in mainstream schools, alternative provisions, or community settings.

As a Tutor, you'll help students build confidence, close learning gaps, and achieve their academic goals across a range of subjects - with a particular focus on English, Maths, and Science.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and personalised learning sessions to students (KS2-KS4).

• Adapt teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs and abilities.

• Assess progress and provide constructive feedback.

• Maintain accurate session records and progress reports.

• Work collaboratively with school staff, parents, and local authorities to support positive outcomes for learners.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or equivalent tutoring/teaching experience.

• Strong subject knowledge in English, Maths, or Science.

• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

• A patient, positive, and empathetic approach to supporting young people.

• An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
