KS1 Teacher

• Daily Rate: £178.58 - £215.68

• Job Type: Full-time, Temporary (initially until October Half Term, with potential to continue)

We are seeking an experienced KS1Teacher to join a vibrant school community in the Wyre area. This role is set to start on the ASAP and is initially contracted until October half-term, with the possibility of extension. This position has arisen due to the resignation of the current post holder. Please note, this role is not suitable for newly qualified teachers.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons that meet curriculum standards and the needs of pupils in KS1.
• Assess and record pupils' progress, preparing them for transition to the next stage of their education.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively, ensuring a constructive learning environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and academic success.
• Participate in school events and activities, contributing to the school's community spirit.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Upper KS1 Teacher.
• Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and teaching methods.
• Excellent classroom management skills.
• Ability to engage and inspire students.
• Effective communication and organisational skills.
• This role is not suitable for newly qualified teachers.
