Axon Moore have exclusively partnered with a PE-backed, acquisitive business in Preston in their search for an ambitious, part-qualified Management Accountant wanting to take ownership of the production of the management accounts in a broad and varied role.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

Supporting with production of monthly management accounts
Balance sheet reconciliations
Ownership of deferred revenue and prepayment schedules
Accruals and other month end tasks
Supporting with VAT returns and P11D
Assisting with stock reconciliations
Supporting the integration of new acquisitions
Oversee a small transactional team
Audit support
Process improvement
Other ad-hoc project work
Required Skills and Experience:

At least two years' experience in a similar role
Advanced Excel skills (desired)
Boast a tenacious, problem-solving attitude.
Enthusiastic team player with a positive, hard-working approach.
Excellent attention to detail.
Well organised and self-motivated with an ability to prioritise and manage own time efficiently and effectively.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Adaptable and flexible nature.
