• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - Mandatory
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one
• Eligibility to work in the UK - Please note, sponsorship is not available for this role
• Must be willing to work in a permanent capacity
• Minimum of 1 year of teaching experience as an English Teacher in the UK

• Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons across Key Stages, aligned with the national curriculum
• Foster a love for literature, language, and writing in students of all abilities
• Use a variety of teaching methods to engage students and support diverse learning styles
• Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, offering constructive feedback to help them excel
• Maintain excellent classroom management and create a safe, respectful learning environment
• Collaborate with colleagues in the English department and across the school
• Participate in school events, staff training, and CPD to continually enhance teaching practice
• Support extracurricular activities related to English and literacy
