Do you have experience in housing allocations / lettings and enjoy working in a customer-focused environment? Here at Amplius, we have a new opportunity for you to join us as an Allocations Coordinator on a 6-month Fixed Term Contract, supporting our dedicated Allocations team to deliver an efficient and compliant service while ensuring a seamless move-in experience for our customers. You’ll work closely with colleagues, local authorities, and partner agencies to support our mission to build stronger, safer communities.

Salary: £33,000 per year

Contract: 6-month FTC, full time

Your week: 36.25 hours Monday – Friday 9am – 5.15pm

Location: Hybrid with a weekly presence in either our Lincoln or Boston office

* As of 1 April 2026, this salary will increase by 3.6%.

Snapshot of your role

  • Manage the end-to-end lettings process, from advertising properties through to sign-up.
  • Minimise void times by ensuring properties are allocated and re-let efficiently.
  • Handle tenancy terminations, ensuring legal compliance and providing guidance to customers.
  • Ensure all allocations meet legislation, regulatory standards, and internal policies.
  • Work with local authorities and partners, challenging unsuitable nominations where needed.
  • Support relocation projects including regeneration, redevelopment, and decants.
  • Maintain accurate records and provide a high standard of customer service, resolving queries and complaints promptly.

What you’ll need to thrive in this role

  • CIH Level 2 qualification, or willingness to undertake this qualification
  • Strong knowledge and experience of lettings, allocations, and relocation processes.
  • Good understanding of housing and tenancy law, including nomination agreements.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the housing regulatory environment and ability to apply it in practice.
  • Experience working with local authorities and external partners.
  • Ability to use housing management systems effectively.
  • A collaborative approach, working well with colleagues across teams to deliver joined-up services.
  • Resilience and adaptability, with the ability to manage a varied workload and work across a regional area.

DBS clearance is required for this role.
