About the RoleWe are recruiting on behalf of a well-established estate agency in Swansea for a Sales Valuer to join their team. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Estate Agent who enjoys winning new business, attending valuations, and converting opportunities into instructions.
This Estate Agent position plays a key role within the branch, focusing on generating listings, managing vendor relationships, and driving overall market share within the local area.

Key Responsibilities- Manage valuation leads and arrange appointments
- Attend property valuations and provide accurate, evidence-based pricing advice
- Win new instructions at agreed fee levels
- Upsell additional services including MAB, conveyancing, and marketing packages
- Generate valuation opportunities through follow-ups, referrals, and proactive activity
- Achieve targets for property listings with strong conversion performance
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors
- Oversee onboarding of new instructions, including paperwork and marketing launch
- Clearly explain the sales process and manage vendor expectations
- Maintain accurate records of valuations, instructions, and outcomes
- Carry out viewings when required
- Monitor pipeline performance and progression of listings
- Work closely with negotiators to ensure smooth handovers post-instruction
- Stay up to date with local market trends, pricing, and competitor activity
- Hold weekly vendor care meetings with negotiators
- Provide KPI reporting on activity and performance when required
- Offer senior support, guidance, and training to negotiators where needed
- Manage negotiators' diaries and workload coordination
- Ensure all activity complies with legislation and company standards expected of a professional Estate Agent
Skills & Experience Required- Estate agency experience essential, Sales Valuer experience preferred
- Previous experience working as an Estate Agent focused on valuations and instructions
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Proven ability to win business and negotiate effectively
- Excellent customer service standards
- Professional and organised approach
- Ability to manage multiple listings and client relationships simultaneously
- Strong administrative and record-keeping skills
- Passion for the property market and working with people
- Proactive mindset with ambition to succeed
- Full UK driving licence required
- Local knowledge of Swansea and surrounding areas advantageous
Package & Benefits- Basic salary from £28,000 per annum (depending on experience)
- Uncapped OTE with minimum £5,000 commission, increased through over-performance
- Laptop and mobile phone provided
- Use of a pool car
- Full-time hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
- Alternative Saturdays 9am to 1:30pm (time off in lieu)
