Solicitor - Will, Trust & Estate Disputes
Tunbridge Wells

Salary depending upon experience

I am working with a highly respected, award-winning law firm that's looking to add an ambitious Solicitor to its growing Will, Trust & Estate Disputes team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to build their contentious private client expertise in a firm that offers complex, high-quality work without the need to be London-based.

Why this role stands out:

  • You'll be joining a team that regularly handles the kind of challenging and high-value disputes you'd expect to see in leading London and national firms.
  • The firm is growing-and fast. You'll be part of a dynamic, collaborative team with a clear vision and ambitious plans.
  • There's a strong focus on training and career development, including support towards ACTAPS membership, and access to experienced mentors who are genuinely invested in your success.

What you'll be doing:

  • Supporting the team on large, high-profile estate and trust disputes
  • Taking the lead on smaller matters, with supervision and guidance as needed
  • Getting involved in emerging areas like contentious Court of Protection work, including financial abuse and attorney disputes
  • Collaborating with the Trust & Tax Management and Independent Estate Administration teams as the practice continues to expand

What they're looking for:

  • A qualified Solicitor (or soon to qualify) with a clear interest in contentious wills, trusts, and estates
  • Someone who's technically sharp, proactive, and confident working both independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills and a desire to get involved in business development

What's on offer:

  • A flexible, hybrid working policy
  • A firm with a supportive culture and genuine work-life balance
  • The chance to develop your career in a niche, high-demand area of law
  • Clear career progression and the opportunity to make a real impact in a growing department
