Delivery Driver - 3.5 ton

Starting salary £31,750 per annum.

£33,500 per annum after 6 months' probation.

£250 quarterly bonus scheme after 6 months' probation

£1,000 Service Bonus after 3 years service.

Summary

We are seeking a reliable Delivery Driver to join our team at NHW Ltd. Based in Aston, Birmingham, you will play a vital role in ensuring the timely delivery of food products to our valued customers. Your contributions will directly impact our reputation for excellent service.

Responsibilities

* Safely operate a delivery van to transport food products to various locations.

* Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling and storage during transit.

* Communicate effectively with regular customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.

* Maintain accurate records of deliveries and inventory levels.

* Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.

* Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs.

* Completing paperwork and cash handling.

Hours & Shifts

* Alternative 5/6 day week

* Every alternative Tuesdays off

* Must work every Saturday or Sunday

* 6:00am start for the first three months (training) then 7:30am start.

Requirements

* Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

* Experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving preferred.

* Ability to lift heavy items up to 25kg safely and efficiently.

* Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
