Year 2 Primary Teacher**

Aspire People are currently recruiting a dedicated **Year 2 Teacher** to join a supportive and well-established primary school. This is a fantastic opportunity for both experienced teachers and ECTs looking to develop their career within a strong KS1 team.

The school is looking for someone who can confidently lead a Year 2 class, with a strong understanding of KS1 expectations and the ability to support pupils as they prepare for end-of-key-stage assessments.

**The Role:**
* Full class teaching responsibility within a Year 2 classroom
* Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum
* Supporting pupils in preparation for SATs in a positive and structured way
* Assessing, tracking, and reporting on pupil progress
* Creating a supportive and inclusive classroom environment
* Working collaboratively with the KS1 team and leadership staff

**The Ideal Candidate:**
* Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
* Experience teaching within KS1 (placement experience accepted for ECTs)
* Strong knowledge of the Year 2 curriculum and assessment expectations
* Excellent classroom management skills
* Committed to raising attainment and supporting all learners
