We have a systems specialist vacancy with one of our key clients; Simmtronic are a highly established industry leader within hi-value light-control systems. With a HQ in Hoddesdon and a client based central London office, you'll be joining a well-known UK brand with a family feel, getting the opportunity to work with several teams across the business, including production, test, design and sales. 

Role overview 
Reporting to the technical engineering director, your role will centre around systems level excellence alongside client advice, support and guidance. You will be based at their HQ in Hoddesdon but will also get the chance to travel to their extensive client portfolio across London.

1.    Supporting engineering teams, understanding systems at an engineering level 
2.    Go to person for integration support, working with different teams to ensure projects run smoothly 
3.    Visiting clients with specifications team, offering technical insight on changes, challenges and solutions, occasionally troubleshooting issues 

What are we looking for?
•    Experienced systems level engineer (electronics, software, IT, computer systems) 
•    Technical Qualification: Degree/HND/HNC
•    Personality: Comfortable speaking with clients and engaging with technical colleagues at a high level 
•    Nice to have: knowledge of digital protocols (IP, MQTT, BACnet, DALI)
