Do you have experience working with children and young people in residential care? Are you passionate about making a lasting impact? Join us as a Senior Residential Support Worker in our brand-new emotional wellbeing home in Coalville. We have an exciting project to deliver therapeutic residential care to some of the county’s most vulnerable young people.

�? About the Home

Based in Coalville, is a warm and supportive environment for up to 3 children and young people aged 8-18. The service supports those with complex needs and emotional challenges, helping them build confidence, develop independence, and form meaningful connections. While Coalville will be your main base, you'll need to be flexible and willing to work in our other homes in Hinckley, Syston, and Mountsorrel if needed.

?? What You’ll Be Doing

As a Senior Residential Support Worker, you’ll:

  • Build positive, nurturing relationships with children and young people
  • Lead, coach, and support a team of Residential Support Workers
  • Help manage daily routines, including cooking, cleaning, and home maintenance
  • Ensure high standards of safeguarding and emotional support
  • Work closely with families, carers, and external professionals
  • Keep accurate records and support care planning

?? What We’re Looking For

  • A Level 3 qualification in Residential Childcare (or a willingness to complete it)
  • At least 1 years’ experience supervising in a residential care setting
  • A background working with children and young people with emotional or behavioural needs
  • A solid understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and bank holidays
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
