This is your opportunity to play a pivotal role in launching and growing the UK customer base for an established international transport business. With solid infrastructure across the UK & Ireland, this business is looking for a commercially savvy operator to open doors, win clients, and lay the foundations for long-term success.
You'll be supported by an experienced operational team, allowing you to focus on what you do best: identifying opportunities, securing new business, and building lasting customer relationships in the road freight sector.
The Role:
- Drive new business development across the North of England and Midlands
- Build and manage your own portfolio of road freight clients
- Collaborate with ioperational teams to deliver seamless road freight solutions
- Contribute to wider UK growth plans with the potential to scale into a senior leadership role
- Operate autonomously with the backing of a financially stable and discreet logistics provider
You Will Need:
- A successful background in road freight forwarding and B2B sales
- Demonstrated ability to win and retain freight clients from a standing start
- Strong commercial network within the M62 corridor or Midlands
- Entrepreneurial spirit with a self-driven, strategic approach to business development
- A commitment to delivering quality service over quantity of sales
What You Will Receive:
- A competitive base salary between £40,000 - £55,000, depending on experience
