Nursery Practitioner – Level 3 | Up to £27,000

Are you a passionate early years educator looking for a warm, supportive setting where your skills are truly valued?

Our client is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join their small, friendly nursery that prides itself on providing high-quality care and education in a nurturing and fun environment.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a setting where children are encouraged to explore, learn, and thrive—supported by a team that genuinely cares about their development and wellbeing.

As a Level 3 qualified Nursery Practitioner, you will play a key role in supporting children's learning and development across the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). You'll create meaningful learning experiences, build strong relationships with families, and work closely with a collaborative team to maintain a safe, inspiring, and inclusive environment.

What We’re Looking For

  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or equivalent) – essential.
  • Prior experience in a nursery or early years setting.
  • Strong understanding of child development and the EYFS curriculum.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to diversity, inclusion, and creating a welcoming space for all children and families.
  • A kind, positive, and professional approach to working with children and colleagues alike.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework.
  • Support children’s physical, emotional, cognitive, and social development through play and interaction.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised environment that promotes children’s wellbeing.
  • Build trusting relationships with parents and carers, providing regular updates on children’s progress.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive, team-focused atmosphere.
  • Assist with daily care routines, including feeding, toileting, and nappy changing as needed.
