Are you a passionate and dedicated primary teacher looking for a rewarding short-term opportunity? We are currently seeking a talented Year 1 Teacher to join a welcoming and well-resourced primary school in Tilbury on a maternity cover contract starting September 2025.

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in a supportive school environment, with the potential for the contract to be extended into 2026.

About the Role:

Full-time teaching position in a Year 1 class
Maternity cover from September to December 2025 (initially)
Potential for extension depending on circumstances
Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
Creating a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment
Working collaboratively with staff, parents, and carers

About You:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
Experience teaching in KS1, ideally Year 1
Strong classroom management and communication skills
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
Enthusiastic, adaptable, and ready to hit the ground running
