We are looking for an experienced Residential Child Care Worker for an ongoing role supporting young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and Learning Difficulties (LD) in Derby.

Locations:
Limestone - EBD & LD: 55 Coronation Avenue, Derby, DE24 0LR
Shine - Learning Difficulties: 48 Brierfield Way, Derby, DE3 9SA

Contract: initially 3 months, with potential extension

Pay: £16.65 per hour umbrella

Shift Patterns:
7:00am - 2:30pm
2:00pm - 10:30pm
10:30pm - 7:30am

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide safe, nurturing, and consistent care for children and young people.

* Support young people with emotional, behavioural, and learning difficulties.

* Maintain a positive and therapeutic environment.

* Work proactively as part of a team to deliver person-centred care.

Requirements:

* Experience working with vulnerable children or in a residential childcare setting is desirable.

* Resilience, compassion, and a calm, supportive approach.

* Ability to work flexible shifts including days, lates, and nights
