We are currently recruiting on behalf of a reputable and expanding facilities services company seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to support their commercial maintenance contracts across Cambridgeshire and the surrounding counties.

The Opportunity:

This is a fantastic opportunity for a multi-skilled Mechanical Engineer looking to join a well-established business working across varied sectors such as education, retail, healthcare, and other commercial premises. The role will involve a mix of reactive and planned maintenance, small mechanical works, and fault finding on a wide range of building services plant and systems.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

To be successful in this role, you will hold at least one of the following qualifications:

Commercial Gas (ACS)

NVQ Level 2/3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning

OFTEC Certification

TPCP1 / TPCP1A

Other recognised mechanical or HVAC-related qualifications

We're especially keen to speak with candidates who bring versatility across mechanical systems, and can work confidently within commercial environments including schools, hospitals, retail parks, and office buildings.

Essential Requirements:

Proven experience in mechanical maintenance in commercial buildings

Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and client-facing abilities

Full UK driving licence (required)
