Our client, Elegen Bio, is developing a suite of innovative technologies to unlock the SynBio revolution. We are seeking an intensely passionate and versatile systems engineer to become a key member of the R&D team, spearheading the development of new and disruptive SynBio tools.

Responsibilities of the Role:
- Develop and optimize new DNA synthesis protocols.
- Automate pre-synthesis instrument calibration.
- Design and implement metrics to assess the quality of synthesis runs.
- Create and maintain instrument operation SOP.
- Troubleshoot and root-cause synthesis run failures.
Essential Candidate Qualifications:
- Degree in Engineering.
- Highly proficient in Python, familiar with C/C++.
- Meticulous and detailed oriented.
- Nice to have: Experience working with life science tools (NGS).
- Advanced capability with data aggregation.
- Self-starter, with the ability to independently design and execute experiments to meet goals.
