Join our vibrant team at a primary school in Ealing as a Teaching Assistant. This role is perfect for someone fluent in French and has experience working with children aged 1 to 12 years. A qualification in Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) is advantageous, but the primary requirement is proficiency in French.
Day-to-day of the role: - Assist in the delivery of daily activities and educational programs in a bilingual setting.
- Support the lead teacher in planning and executing lessons that cater to both English and French speakers.
- Engage with children individually and in groups, facilitating a supportive and interactive learning environment.
- Monitor and support the children’s development, ensuring their safety and wellbeing at all times.
- Collaborate with other staff members to promote a cohesive educational experience.
Required Skills & Qualifications: - Proficiency in French is essential.
- Experience working with children aged 1 to 12 years.
- EYFS qualification is desirable but not mandatory.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
- Passionate about child development and education.
- Experience with SEN.
