I am recruiting for experienced Customer Service Advisors to join my Client based on the outskirts of Wakefield.

They are one of the UK's most established and largest online providers of made to measure window furnishings.  In 2021, they supplied over half a million made-to-measure blinds that have been manufactured by them here in Yorkshire!

This role is offered on a temporary to permanent basis with a start date of Tuesday 3rd May.

is their main website that they advertise on national TV.  They are proud of the fact that Blinds Direct is rated by their valued customers as 'Excellent' on Trustpilot.  All of their products carry an extended five-year guarantee and they offer a free sample service.

The Clients objective is to provide their customers with a true 'best-in-class' experience both when shopping on their websites and when contacting their UK based customer services team.  The customer services function is split into three product specialist teams that respond to customer contacts through phone calls, emails and live chat.

Overview of the role:

You will join their customer service team, building great relationships with both your colleagues and our valued customers.

You will communicate with consumers via phone calls, emails and live chat.

You will have clear and achievable performance targets for both the Customer Service Agent role and the Customer Service Team as a whole. They provide extensive support and training to help you improve your individual performance levels, as well as the service levels across the whole team, ensuring you're well equipped to succeed and maximise your earning potential.

Key Responsibilities

- Responding to inbound calls from customers in a timely and effective manor, answering questions relating to their order or presales enquiries.

- Responding to emails from customers, these could be pre-sales or after sales enquiries.

- Handling live chat enquiries with customers that are on one of the websites.

- Politely and professionally attempt to resolve all queries from customers from their first point of contact.

-Achieve individual target levels for key performance indicators (KPIs), including contacts volume and customer feedback, resulting in ability to earn monthly bonus of over 10% of salary.

What are we looking for?

You will have excellent communication skills, both verbally and written, whilst also being able to work under pressure as part of a team.  Experience of working in a busy customer service environment would be beneficial but not essential.

You will be able to problem solve and assist customers with their queries effectively.

You will be confident and always professional when communicating with customers. 

You will be empathetic with customers when necessary and will not get flustered when working in a fast-paced environment where the scope of consumer queries can be very varied.

You will be highly motivated to achieve individual excellence, while you will also respect your colleagues and enjoy being part of a wider team.

What can we offer you?

-Full-time (40 hours per week) and Part-Time options available.

Hours of work are; Between 0830 - 1800 working 4 days in the week, plus 1 weekend day (1000 - 1600)  - 40 hours per week for full-time (Monday to Friday option may be available) Part-time working will be discussed upon application.

-Newly increased pay scale.  Tier one, £19,760 to start per annum (Full-Time), Tier two, £20,363 upon successful completion of 3 to maximum 6 months' probation.  Tier 3, increasing to £21,153 per annum, subjective to individual performance. (Both tiers pro-rata Part-Time).

-Comprehensive 3 to 4 weeks training programme (full-time).

-Post training, ability to earn achievable 'additional bonus' up to £200 per month, £2,400 per annum.
