Supply Teacher – Grimsby

Location: Grimsby and surrounding areas

Job Type: Temporary, Monday to Friday (flexible)

Pay: £135–£170 per day, depending on experience and assignment

About the Role

I am looking for a committed and adaptable supply teacher to work across primary schools in the Grimsby and wider Humber area. This role is ideal for teachers who enjoy variety, value flexibility, and want to make a meaningful difference in a range of school environments. You will cover both planned and emergency absences, deliver engaging lessons, and support pupils with their daily learning while maintaining a healthy work–life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide flexible Monday–Friday availability, with both day-to-day supply and long-term placements available

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across a broad range of subjects

• Maintain positive classroom behaviour in line with school policies

• Create a supportive and engaging learning environment

• Assist pupils with both academic progress and emotional wellbeing

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Previous experience teaching in UK schools

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

• Strong behaviour management abilities

• Excellent communication and organisational skills
