Assistant Site Manager required for a new build care home project in Storrington.

Our client, a well-regarded main contractor, is seeking an experienced Assistant Site Manager to support the delivery of a new build care home. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in residential or healthcare schemes and previous site-based roles such as foreman or gateman.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the Site Manager with daily operations on site

*

Maintain high standards of health and safety

*

Oversee subcontractors and coordinate site activities

*

Monitor deliveries, manage logistics, and maintain security

*

Maintain daily site records and ensure compliance with company procedures

*

Step into gatekeeping or foreman duties when required

Requirements:

*

Experience as an Assistant Site Manager, Foreman or Gateman

*

Previous involvement on care home or residential construction projects

*

SMSTS or SSSTS certification

*

CSCS card

*

First Aid at Work (preferred)

*

Organised, proactive, and confident managing trades and site teams
