Fitter/Mechanic - Grounds Maintenance Equipment

Location:, Cheam, (South London & surrounding areas)
Salary: £32,000 per annum (DOE - flexibility available for the right candidate)
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

About the Role:

We're looking for a skilled and reliable Fitter/Mechanic to join our team based in Cheam. In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of grounds maintenance equipment. Your work will be essential in keeping our machinery running smoothly and efficiently, ensuring minimal downtime for our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out routine servicing, fault diagnosis, and repairs on a variety of grounds maintenance machinery and equipment

Ensure all equipment is operating efficiently, safely, and in line with company standards

Work independently and as part of a team to manage maintenance schedules and urgent repairs

Keep accurate maintenance records and report any recurring issues

What We're Looking For:

Strong mechanical skills with a solid understanding of machinery and vehicle systems

Experience in maintaining and servicing grounds maintenance equipment is highly desirable

Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic abilities

A proactive attitude and willingness to learn

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Full UK driving license is essential
