Shifts: 4 on 4 off (6am-6pm, Days & Nights)

The Company

ATA are supporting a UK manufacturer who lead the way in their manufacturing sector. With over a dozen sites nationwide, they continue to invest in their people and processes. This company has continued to grow and is a market leader in a very stable industry. Their East Midlands plant is one of the most advanced in the group, and they're now looking to bring in an experienced mechanical maintenance engineer to strengthen the team.

The Job

You'll be working on a wide range of automated machinery in a busy production environment. This site is high volume, fast-moving, and heavily reliant on its electrical systems. The role will see you as the part of the essential mechanical maintenance team on shift, so you'll need to be confident fault finding and keeping things running.

Key responsibilities include:

Fault finding mechanically
Reactive maintenance
Preventive maintenance and project support
Working with motors, bearing, hydraulics, pneumatics
Supporting production teams with breakdowns and system resets
Contributing to site-wide improvements and helping reduce downtime
About you

NVQ Level 3 Mechanical qualifications
Strong experience in fault finding - manufacturing experience is a bonus
Basic PLC knowledge
Someone level-headed, confident working solo when needed, and keen to make an impact as a mechanical maintenance engineer
