Qualified Social Worker, Fostering Team, Leicester City Council Pay rate to £35 per hourContract roleVitalis are recruiting for a Qualified Social Worker to work in a Fostering team in Leicester City Council.Fulltime vacancy for Supervising Social Worker with a caseload of approved Kinship foster carers.Working fulltime Mon-Thurs 8:30am to 5pm and Friday 8:30am -4:30pmThe caseload is likely to be a mix of mainstream and kinship foster carers and that some of our kinship carers live a distance away from Leicester, so the role will require travel. Maximum caseload is 22, but average is currently 18Hybrid working does have the requirement of attending some face-to-face meetings at Halford House and other City venues - the more mandatory meetings are approx. once a fortnight as a guide. Hybrid working using office base in City centre, local venues such as Children's Centres and home-based working.Role is to supervise and support approved foster carers to meet both the needs of the child inDon’t forget, if this role isn’t the perfect fit, we’re confident we can find one that is.
