We have an exciting opportunity for a Personal Advisor to join our Future Directions Leaving Care Service in Barnsley. You’ll work with care-experienced young people aged 16–25, helping them transition from care to independent living and achieve their goals.
Location: Barnsley (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)
Pay: £13.69 per hour
Contract: Permanent, Full-time
What You’ll Do- Support young people as they move into adulthood, providing practical and emotional help.
- Develop and review Pathway Plans with achievable goals.
- Advocate for care leavers and work closely with partner agencies.
- Promote independence and positive outcomes in housing, education, employment, and wellbeing.

- Ability to work collaboratively and maintain professional boundaries.
- Experience supporting young people or vulnerable individuals is desirable.
