The Role:The London Borough of Lewisham's Housing Needs Service is looking for an experienced Void Coordinator to join their team on a 12+ month contract. As a Works Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing temporary accommodation voids. Your primary focus will be ensuring that voids are turned around efficiently, reducing backlog, and maintaining high service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contract Management: Supervise contractors to ensure the timely delivery of quality services and value for money.

• Void Management: Ensure void properties are quickly turned around and ready for new tenants.

• Backlog Reduction: Identify and implement strategies to reduce the void backlog.

• Documentation: Draft Statements of Work (SoWs) using the relevant Schedule of Rates (SoR) codes.

• Liaison: Act as a point of contact between various departments to ensure smooth communication and operational efficiency.

• IT Skills: Utilise excellent IT skills to present data and reports effectively.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Proven experience in void management and contract supervision.

• Strong organisational skills with a focus on efficiency and quality.

• Experience in drafting SoWs and working with SoR codes.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to liaise with multiple teams.

• Proficient in IT, including reporting and data presentation tools.
