Assist in Property Transactions: Support solicitors with the completion of property transactions, including sales, purchases, leases, and transfers.

Document Management: Prepare, review, and organise legal documents, such as contracts, leases, and deeds. Ensure that all documentation is compliant with relevant laws and regulations.

Client Liaison: Communicate with clients, surveyors, estate agents, and other professionals to gather necessary information, provide updates, and ensure that all parties are informed throughout the transaction process.

Due Diligence: Carry out searches, including land registry checks, environmental searches, and title checks.

Legal Research: Conduct legal research on property laws, title matters, and property rights as required by the solicitors.

Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the real estate team, including diary management, file management, and preparing client correspondence.

Assist with Litigation: Assist with real estate disputes, including landlord/tenant disputes, eviction proceedings, and property-related litigation.

File Maintenance: Maintain accurate records of all transactions and client files, ensuring that all documentation is up-to-date and accessible.

Experience: Previous experience as a Paralegal within a real estate or property law firm is preferred but not essential.

Skills: Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential.

Knowledge: A good understanding of property law, including the Landlord and Tenant Act, leasehold, freehold, and land registration is highly desirable.

IT Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office and case management systems. Experience with legal software is a plus.

Personal Qualities: Able to work independently and as part of a team, proactive, reliable, and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
