Position: Specialist Waste Engineer
Location: Chertsey, Surrey
Job Type: Full-time
Hours: Monday to Friday, 50 hours
About the Role:
Our Client is now looking for customer focused people, working to deliver real and effective solutions to waste-water network and drainage problems.
* Deliver customer service
* Ensure vehicle stock is full and replenished
* To comply with health and safety responsibilities (i.e., PPE and safe site setups protecting Lanes Group employees, the public and other road users)
* To be able to utilise the software provided.
* Provide support to your colleagues
* To conduct thorough inspections of tools, equipment and plant before / after use
* Report any defects or malfunctions in regards to training
* Carry out risk assessments and have a mature approach to risk perception
* Exceptional timekeeping whilst on site, keeping a log and reporting back to the planning department
* Always adhere to company health and safety practices and be aware of BSI Policies and your responsibilities towards them.
About You:
The ideal candidate will have the following industry qualifications:
* HGV Class 2
* Confined Space (Full Rescue)
* High Pressure Water Jetting Certificate (HPWJA)
* Streetworks Certificate
* National Water Hygiene
* JHL Training
* SHEA Water
* DISAB Training
