Our client, a welcoming and well-established nursing home nestled within acres of beautifully landscaped grounds, is looking for a Senior Healthcare Assistant to join their night team.
The home provides residential and dementia care to older adults in a calm, homely, and well-supported environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for a compassionate professional to play a key role in delivering high-quality care through the night, ensuring residents feel safe, supported, and respected at all hours.
What We’re Looking For
- Level 3 Health and Social Care qualification (or working towards it)
- Previous experience in a senior or supervisory care role
- Strong understanding of elderly and dementia care
- Confident, compassionate, and able to work independently at night
- Reliable and team-oriented, with great communication skills

What the Role Involves
As a Senior Healthcare Assistant on night shifts, you’ll:
- Provide person-centred care and emotional support throughout the night
- Assist with medication administration and care plan updates (where trained)
- Offer guidance to night care staff, helping ensure continuity and quality
- Respond to residents’ needs with empathy and professionalism
- Monitor and record wellbeing, reporting any concerns appropriately
- Help maintain a calm, safe, and respectful night-time environment
