Job Title: Business Teacher

Leader Education are recruiting a highly motivated Business Teacher who will bring their expertise to a Durham based Secondary school.

The ideal Business Teacher will have a genuine passion for delivering their knowledge, bringing energy and enthusiasm to the classroom.

This schools focuses highly on ensuring its pupils are ambitious, kind, and resilient with a sincere enthusiasm for learning.

The normal working pattern is Monday-Friday 8:30am until 4pm.

The successful candidate will have:

• Qualified teacher status (QTS) and relevant teaching qualifications.
• A current DBS that is on the update system, or a willingness to obtain one.
• Previous experience as a Business teacher.
• Ability to effectively deliver the curriculum, offering support, advice and guidance to pupils.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with pupils, colleagues, parents and other professionals.
• Adaptability and initiative to accommodate for various learning type and abilities, striving towards social and academic development.
• High expectations and aspirations for young people and themselves.
