We are currently partnered with a client direct who are looking to expand their shift team and bring in a Shift Supervisor to oversee a team of Technical Engineers, carrying out reactive and planned maintenance across a high footfall and live environment. My client is seeking someone with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as having previous experience supervising technical teams.
Job purpose: As a Shift Supervisor you will be responsible for undertaking the day to day running of the contract and building whilst supervising a team of technical engineers. You will be required to answer queries, report any defects, and keep the client informed of site activities at the time of the service visit. You will be expected to complete all work-related documentation accurately and on time, keeping logs of inspections reports and remedial work.
As well as this you will be leading a team of technical engineers across a high foot hold contract. You will be dealing with clients carrying out reports, dealing with quotations and more.
Experience & Qualifications
* Experience supervising a team of technical engineers and dealing with contractual issues.
* Relevant qualifications required e.g. C&G or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical as well as holding an 18th Edition if electrically qualified.
* Knowledge of Health & Safety, Permit to Work procedures and Safe Systems of Working.
* Capability to perform manual tasks, including manual handling, working at heights and in confined spaces.
* Good verbal and written communication are important, including the ability to use a mobile device.
* Have experience in a previous contract supervisor position or experience previously leading a team.
