Forklift Counterbalance Driver - Full Time (Temp to Perm)
We're currently recruiting for a Forklift Counterbalance Driver to join a well-established company working with panel products such as plywood and MDF. This is a long-term opportunity with clear progression and salary increases after probation.
Shift Pattern:
Monday to Friday
Rotating shifts:
07:00 - 15:30
08:00 - 17:30
(30-minute break deducted)
Salary:
£28,750 per annum
Rising to £30,750 after successful 6-month probation
Additional annual bonus scheme available after probation, based on attendance and performance (non-contractual)
Duties include:
Operating a Counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently
Loading and unloading Class 1 vehicles and vans
Handling panel products including plywood and MDF
Supporting general warehouse duties where required
Manual handling as part of daily tasks
Requirements:
Valid Counterbalance Forklift licence
Previous experience in a similar role
Comfortable with manual handling
Reliable with good attendance and work ethic
