Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum

Our client, a rapidly growing manufacturing / assembly business, is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor. Ideally coming from a manufacturing / assembly environment yourself, you will oversee and coordinate daily shop floor and stores operations. Managing a floor of assembly, test, stores operators and technicians, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference and join a company where your ideas will be valued, your input will make a real impact, and your career can develop as the business continues to expand.

The Role

* Lead and motivate production and stores teams to meet daily and weekly manufacturing targets.

* Ensure health & safety standards are followed, promoting a safe working culture.

* Monitor workflow, troubleshoot problems, and adjust resources to achieve on-time delivery.

* Work closely with engineering, despatch, and management teams to resolve issues and improve efficiency.

* Coach, develop and support team members to enhance performance.

* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve quality, reduce waste, and boost productivity.

About You

* Proven background in manufacturing supervision (not general production).

* Ideally 3 years experience within a Mechanical & Electrical assembly type environment.

* A confident communicator, able to influence both senior management and shop floor teams.

* Hands-on leader with strong problem-solving skills.

* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing business where challenges create opportunities.

* Passionate about continuous improvement and developing people.
