Our client, a well-established name in the financial services sector, is looking for a Customer-Focused Administrator to join their Business Services team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail, excellent organisational skills, and a commitment to delivering first-class service.

This varied and fast-paced role involves direct interaction with internal departments and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will play a key part in supporting lease and hire purchase administration, managing queries, and ensuring smooth daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately calculate early settlement requests
Respond to queries in the Business Services inbox (e.g., financial changes, ad-hoc invoices)
Administer end-of-lease and hire purchase processes
Support risk-related admin tasks using the Lease Administration System
Run daily invoice checks and resolve any discrepancies
Manage and update HPI queues and vehicle records
Handle the registration and release of Charges at Companies House
Investigate and correct discrepancies in agreements
Reconcile and process payments for maintenance, VAT, and secondary rentals to third parties
Take ownership of specific processes and suggest improvements
Liaise with internal teams (e.g., Customer Services) on title clearance and documentation
Train new team members following completion of probation and training plan
Additional Duties:
Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate department
Assist apprentices with daily administrative tasks such as post handling, scanning, and archiving
Provide general administrative support as needed
Person / Experience Required:
Previous experience in a customer-facing or administrative role (financial services experience a plus)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Excel, and Word
Highly organised with the ability to prioritise workloads
Excellent attention to detail and time management
Problem-solving mindset and methodical approach
Self-motivated and able to work independently
Positive, adaptable, and proactive attitude
