SUMMARY: Travel to various locations for new customers who are in need of replacement windows and/or demonstration of our different product lines. Drop in courtesy calls to existing customers to make sure that they are taken care of. Need to check on the needs and satisfaction level and develop professional customer relationships with our customers for ongoing service and new business opportunities.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Develop knowledge of vinyl windows and our additional products sold. We need to educate/ assist customers and provide certified recommendations and suggestions to meet their wants and needs. To be on-time for all appointments and to be professional and courteous at all drop-in visits. Report any customer comments or concerns for follow up on any issue. Provide good record keeping of: all visits including mileage used, problems found and resolved, any comments both negative and positive about the company’s products or services, any compliments and testimonials that could contribute to the Company’s goal of excellent customer service. Perform other assignments or duties as required. Maintain the Company’s professional reputation.
WORKSKILLS: Strong work ethic, excellent people skills, good phone etiquette and tone of voice, able to follow directions well and be on-time using maps to find job sites.
EXPERIENCE: Previous sales/customer service preferable.
QUALIFICATIONS: Outgoing personality with a willingness to travel to many different locations during the course of each day. Must have the ability to communicate effectively and eloquently, in order to educate customers on the advantages of our products and doing business with us. Willingness to work together with other employees and contacts outside the company to coordinate the meeting times efficiently avoiding down time or time wasted. Need a reliable car.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Physical activity associated with driving to many job sites throughout the course of the day. Actual job sites are typical of average homes, construction sites and or offices. Exert up to 25 lbs. of force occasionally as with most office jobs.
EDUCATION: High School Diploma and 2 Yr. College preferred.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: Professional, business settings. Professional attire required at all times.
ASSIGNED TERRITORY: Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside and San Bernardino County.
