A passionate and fluent Modern Foreign Languages Teacher with a specialism in Spanish is required to join the thriving MFL department of an Outstanding girls' school in Enfield, commencing in September. This permanent full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to cultivate a love of the Spanish language and culture in students across Key Stages 3 and 4 (aged 11-16).
Responsibilities
* You will plan and deliver engaging Spanish lessons that develop students' listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.
* The role involves fostering an appreciation for Spanish culture and encouraging students to communicate confidently in the language.
* You will cultivate a dynamic and interactive classroom environment where students feel motivated to participate and develop their linguistic abilities.
* You will assess and monitor student progress with care, providing constructive feedback that encourages their language learning journey.
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Spanish is essential.
* Native or near-native fluency in Spanish is expected.
* Experience teaching engaging and effective Spanish lessons at Key Stages 3 and 4 is highly desirable.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, alongside strong classroom management and the ability to inspire a passion for languages, are vital.
