AMHP - Supportive Team - Capped Caseload - PERMANENT
A Good Local Authority in the South is looking for an Approved Mental Health Professional to join their Mental Health team.
The department is structured to ensure a supportive environment. The lead AMHP and the managers work with the team, so you always have access to management in case you need support with anything. This means you can be part of a team that really values you and your progression so that you are able to carry out your work without the added stress of lacking support.
As a token of the supportive structure, there is a capped caseload of 18. This is quite low compared to most Mental Health teams, and the managers work very hard to ensure that the caseload rarely hits the cap. This is because they appreciate that too much stress can negatively impact Social Workers, so they provide a working environment which allows you to really be able to focus on your work.
You will need to be an Approved Mental Health Practitioner, and you need to have experience holding a caseload in a Mental Health team. You will also need to be HCPC registered.
