The Role - KS2 SEN Teacher - Royston
In this role, you will:
- Deliver engaging, nurture-based teaching to small groups and on a 1:1 basis
- Support pupils with SEMH needs, focusing on emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies
- Apply trauma-informed and attachment-aware approaches consistently
- Plan and deliver personalised learning aligned with EHCP outcomes
- Work collaboratively with SENCOs, pastoral teams, therapists, and external professionals
- Create a calm, structured, and supportive classroom environment where pupils feel safe and valued

The Ideal Candidate - KS2 SEN Teacher
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds QTS or QTLS (desirable), or has significant experience within an SEN/SEMH setting
- Has experience supporting KS2 pupils with SEMH, trauma, or behavioural needs
- Demonstrates resilience, patience, and consistency
- Is skilled in building positive, restorative relationships
- Can commute to Royston
- Is committed to inclusive education and pupil wellbeing
- Is enthusiastic about ongoing professional development
