About the school:

As a Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting both SEN and lower-achieving students. Your focus will be on providing boosters and interventions, helping students prepare for their SATs, and ensuring that they feel confident and ready to achieve their best. You will work closely with class teachers to deliver tailored support, whether working 1:1 with students or assisting small groups. You will also assist SEN students with additional needs, helping them engage with the curriculum and develop their skills in a nurturing and inclusive environment. Our ideal candidate is patient, empathetic, and has experience working with children who have special educational needs.

Application Requirements:

• Experience working with Key Stage 2 students, ideally in a TA or similar role.
• Understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and preparation for SATs.
• Experience working with SEN students is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A compassionate, patient, and positive attitude.
• Relevant TA qualifications or a willingness to train.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in delivering boosters and interventions for Key Stage 2 students.
• Provide 1:1 support for SEN students, helping them engage with lessons and develop key skills.
• Help students prepare for their SATs, ensuring they feel confident and supported.
• Work with small groups to help lower-achieving students catch up with the curriculum.
• Collaborate with class teachers to ensure a cohesive and tailored approach to learning.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment for all students.
