Job Purpose:
To manage the complete purchase order lifecycle, from requisition through to delivery and invoice resolution, ensuring timely procurement aligned with business needs and adherence to public procurement regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
-Manage end-to-end purchasing activities, including complex orders, ensuring demands are accurately understood and met.
-Review requisitions and place purchase orders following the appropriate route to market, expediting as needed to meet deadlines.
-Maintain accurate purchase order data in Fusion and ensure housekeeping processes are followed rigorously.
-Develop and sustain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers to support timely order placement and delivery.
-Manage allocated supplier relationships and promote the use of an evaluated and approved supply base aligned with current and future demand.
-Lead by example in following Supply Chain Management processes, tools, and systems.
-Resolve procurement queries promptly by liaising with various departments and stakeholders.
-Contribute to continuous improvement by championing best practices and participating in process reviews.
-Provide reporting within the assigned category structure and support the Service Centre's objectives.

Essential Skills and Experience:
-In-depth knowledge and understanding of public procurement regulations, including PCR 2015 and PA 2023.
-Experience managing the full tendering and contract lifecycle in compliance with Public Procurement Regulations.
-Proven expertise in sourcing to contract for SaaS or system implementation projects, ideally in finance or related sectors.
-Ability to manage complex, high-value contracts and field queries from multiple stakeholders effectively.
-Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
-Experience working with procurement systems such as JAGGAER or Ariba (desirable).

Desirable:
-Background in nuclear or defense sectors.
-Experience with system implementations in finance.
