Pay: £16.00 - £18.00 per hour
Hours: Monday to Thursday 07:00 - 17:15 (39 hours per week)

The Role

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, this role is key to supporting, growing, and continuously improving manufacturing processes.

Set and operate Mazak machines across various platforms
Carry out machine changeovers for a variety of components
Work closely with quality teams during first-off production
Support daily production to ensure delivery targets are met
Recommend and implement improved manufacturing techniques
Work on cost reduction and continuous improvement projects
Identify waste and implement process improvements
Work closely with Engineering, Quality and Manufacturing teams on existing products and new product introductionAbout You

Proven experience within CNC production setting
Experience setting 3, 4 and 5 axis CNC machines
Support new component setup desirable
Experience with first-off production, tooling and process setup
Able to read and interpret 2D drawings and models
Strong knowledge of machining techniques
Experience working with aluminium, cast and steel components
Knowledge of cutting tools and castings
Experience with Mazak controls desirable (training provided)How to Apply
