Senior Geoenvironmental Consultant Location: Reading Salary: £40,000 - £50,000

An established and growing environmental consultancy is seeking a Senior Geoenvironmental Consultant to join their team in Reading. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced consultant looking to take the next step in their career, working on a wide range of projects across the UK.

The Role: You will play a key role in delivering geoenvironmental projects from initial site assessment through to remediation and validation. The position offers a mix of technical delivery, project management, and client-facing responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing and delivering Phase 1 and Phase 2 site investigations
• Interpreting environmental and geotechnical data and preparing technical reports
• Designing and overseeing remediation strategies
• Liaising with clients, regulators, and subcontractors
• Mentoring junior team members
• Supporting business development and project bidding where required

Requirements:

• Degree in Geology, Environmental Science, or a related discipline
• Proven experience in a geoenvironmental consultancy role
• Strong report writing and project management skills
• Good understanding of UK contaminated land legislation and guidance
• Experience supervising site investigations
• Full UK driving licence
