Elevation Recruitment Group's Engineering & Manufacturing Service Division is supporting a global manufacturer to further strengthen their Aftermarket team with the recruitment of a Field Service Engineer to cover the whole of Scotland.The Field Service Engineer will be fully equipped with a van and tools and the ability to manage your own time and control your diary, ensuring a prompt response to breakdowns and servicing queries.

The role responsibilities of the Field Service Engineer will include:

• All aspects of PSV maintenance, inspection, fault diagnostics, and repairs
• Complete accurate service reports 
• Carrying out point of work risk assessments
• Assist the customer when required, with servicing/repairs and associated queries

The Field Service Engineer will need the following qualifications and experience:

• Full driving licence and ideally located in the Glasgow/Edinburgh areas of Scotland
• Minimum City & Guilds level 3 vehicle maintenance or equivalent (will also considor time served Bus Mechanics)
• Excellent electrical and computer based diagnostic skills
• Ability to work on your own initiative and unsupervised
• Able to follow verbal and written work instructions
