Maintenance Technician | Residential Communities | Permanent | £33,000

We’re working with a leading operator of residential and mixed-use developments to hire a Maintenance Technician to join their on-site operational team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a hands-on skillset, strong customer service focus, and a passion for keeping communities running smoothly.

The Role

As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll be responsible for carrying out day-to-day maintenance tasks across apartments, communal areas, and facilities. You’ll take ownership of inspections, repairs, and general upkeep—ensuring everything meets the highest standards of safety, cleanliness, and functionality.

Equally important, you’ll be the friendly, approachable face of the team, providing excellent service to residents and helping create a positive living experience.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Completing resident maintenance requests and assigned work orders
• Diagnosing issues, carrying out repairs, and ensuring all work meets safety standards
• Inspecting and maintaining apartments, communal spaces, and amenities
• Accurately documenting and completing service records
• Delivering great customer service in every resident interaction
• Collaborating with your team to support a positive, open culture

About You

• Previous experience in maintenance or a technical trade
• Confident delivering high-quality customer service in a resident-facing role
• Strong communication skills, both written and spoken
• Well-organised, proactive, and detail-oriented
• Professional, approachable, and a strong team player
