Full-Time Teaching Assistant - Early Years | Winchester | September 2025 Start 🌟

Are you passionate about supporting young children in their learning and development? Do you have experience working in Early Years and want to be part of a nurturing and dynamic team?

We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Full-Time Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Winchester from September 2025. This role will involve working across the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), supporting children's learning through play-based and structured activities.

🕰️ Contract: Full-time, Term-time Only

💼 Salary: Competitive (depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality learning experiences for Early Years pupils.

Assist with planning and preparing engaging activities that promote development across all EYFS areas.

Provide one-to-one and small group support, adapting approaches to meet individual needs.

Help create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.

Support with observations and assessments in line with EYFS frameworks.

Foster positive relationships with children, staff, and parents.

Ideal Candidate:

Experience working within Early Years or a strong interest in developing a career in EYFS.

A relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2/3 in Childcare or Supporting Teaching and Learning) is desirable.

Kind, patient, and enthusiastic with excellent communication skills.

Able to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required.

Understanding of safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
