Finance Manager
Media Planning & Buying Agency | 6 Month Contract | Central London | Hybrid (3 days in the office)
A rapidly expanding, well-established media planning and buying agency is hiring a Finance Manager to join their dynamic finance team on a 6 month contract.
This is a newly created role to support the agency’s growth through reporting, management accounts, and mentoring a team junior finance professionals.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead month-end closing processes, including journal entries, accruals, and adjustments. Assist in preparing year-end accounts and supporting external audits.
- Prepare and reconcile monthly management accounts. Support the Financial Controller in producing financial reports and variance analyses for leadership.
- Track expenses against budget and assist with financial reporting, including cash flow and budget reports.
- Support annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting. Maintain financial models, monitor budget performance, and update forecasts as needed.
- Manage junior team members as they process supplier invoices, handle payment runs, and maintain accurate records of payables.
Skills & Experience
- 4+ years’ finance experience within a media or creative environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (formulas, reporting, and data analysis).
- Strong attention to detail and methodical approach to financial record-keeping.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
- Familiarity with MediaOcean is highly advantageous.
- Exposure to BI dashboards or automation tools for reporting and process optimisation is desirable.
