• Plan, prepare, and deliver inspiring English lessons to students across different secondary school grades.
• Assess and review student progress through both formative and summative assessments.
• Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs and interests.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the national curriculum and examination specifications for English.
• Encourage students to think critically about texts and express their ideas clearly and confidently.
• Participate in departmental meetings, parent-teacher meetings, and whole school training events.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that promotes student well-being and high standards of achievement.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Proven experience in teaching English at the secondary level.
• Strong knowledge of the English curriculum and current educational practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
