Location of the Welder Fabricator / Welder / Fabricator / Vehicle Fitter / HGV Plant Fitter: Near Queenborough Kent

Salary of the Welder Fabricator / Welder / Fabricator / Vehicle Fitter / HGV Plant Fitter: £18.00 - £19ph dependent shift or experience (either days or split shifts) (£45000 - £47000) Plus overtime @1.5 rate

Hours of work for the Welder Fabricator / Welder / Fabricator / Vehicle Fitter / HGV Plant Fitter: Monday to Friday either Days 07:00am - 17:00pm or Splits WK 1 - 06:00am - 15:30pm WK 2 - 12:30pm - 22:00pm

My client, a commercial vehicle repairer, are looking for a skilled and experienced Welder Fabricator to join their team at a site based near Queenborough Kent.

Main purpose of the Welder Fabricator / Welder / Fabricator / Vehicle Fitter / HGV Plant Fitter:

* Welding of Vehicles, HGVs and Plant Equipment.

Main tasks of the Welder Fabricator / Welder / Fabricator / Vehicle Fitter / HGV Plant Fitter:

* Weld new assemblies working from technical drawings

* Assist with refurbishment

* Carry out weld repairs to new and old vehicles as directed

* Fit ancillary components to vehicles as and when required

* Operate machinery as trained

* Maintain and work within the company's health and safety standards.

* Accurate completion of time sheets, job sheets and all other documentation incumbent within the job role.

* The above is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by your changing role within the organisation and the overall business objectives of the organisation.

The ideal Welder Fabricator will have:

* MIG Mild Steel Experience

* Aluminium Experience

* MMA / ARC Welding

* Plant or Heavy Vehicle Experience is an advantage
