SEND Support Assistant - Primary & Specialist Schools - Bolton & Salford

SEND Support Assistant roles available in Bolton and Salford within primary and specialist SEND schools.

Forever Teaching is working with a number of supportive schools, including dedicated SEND provisions and specialist settings, who are looking for experienced support staff to work with pupils with additional needs.

The SEND Support Assistant role:

* Supporting pupils with SEND (including ASD, ADHD and SEMH)

* Working 1:1 and in small groups

* Supporting behaviour, engagement and emotional regulation

* Working closely with teachers, SENCOs and support teams

We're looking for candidates with experience in:

* SEND schools or mainstream schools with SEND provision

* Residential support work

* Youth work or social care

* Behaviour support roles

Key qualities:

* Calm, patient and adaptable approach

* Strong behaviour management skills

* Ability to build positive relationships with pupils
